Dinosaurs evolved into clouds. Big fat slow Apatosaurus clouds. Violent Tyrannosaurus rex storm clouds. Little wispy Pterosaur clouds. They just got thinner and lighter and floatier and wafted up into the sky. They rain over the Earth to this day. Some of them solidified back into animals over the years. We call them birds. Most of them can still fly up with their brothers, but a few have fallen to Earth, never to fly again. Penguins and ostriches and emus will never roam the skies again.
