41. Since my son has gone on a week-long work trip to Louisiana to help build houses and my wife is studying for Super Hard Accounting Number Eight or something, my daughters and I went to the Fort Worth Zoo yesterday.
We had fun looking at the animals. By the end of the day I was feeling so animal-friendly that I roasted a chicken for dinner. I also boiled some small red and brown potatoes and made a salad from green-leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, grated Parmesan cheese and raspberry and walnut vinaigrette dressing. It was a good day.
I took my camera with me, but the battery decided to be dead. So, instead of bad, blurry pictures taken with my camera, you can see some bad, blurry pictures taken with my phone. There are more here.
