The weather here in Fort Worth, Texas has been excellent for the past four days. Really amazing. Walking back to the office from lunch yesterday I was almost overwhelmed. "So this is warm," I thought. It was pleasant. I'm not that familiar with warm. Hot I know. I'm well acquainted with "so hot you want a glacier to run over you" or "so hot you want to set yourself on fire to cool down". Warm, however, we don't get very often around here. It was great.
I've seen the same wild turkey at the same spot in the river two mornings this week. It's a big turkey. They don't venture often into the city. I love any encounter with real animal life. A few months ago I saw coyotes in a field not far from out house. These are all real encounters. The following encounter never actually happened. Last week there was a sperm whale in the fountain pool outside my office window. It was grand and majestic, and I went out and swam with it and it declared me "whale-friend". It was great.
The only other great animal encounter I've had recently was with a cow. It was yesterday at lunch. Thursday is carne guisada day at the Mexican place across the street. It was great.
'Sup my peeps?
Later. Love.
