Well, I've been thirty-five for a day now, and I can hardly believe how different the world is. People look at me with awe and respect mixed with fear and admiration. Fathers of young boys point to me and say to their sons, "There, son. That's the kind of man I want you to be." Women blush at my smile and turn shyly away. If I'd only known it would be like this, I'd have turned thirty-five at a much younger age.
I'm back in the office in Dallas, Texas today, after almost a week in San Diego. It's cold here, like February should be. It's good to be home.
Thanks for all your kind wishes yesterday. They brought me back from the brink of destruction and lifted me to the glorious heights from which I survey the grandeur of the world around. Someday I'll return the favor.
Hello, friends. Tell me how you're doing.
Later. Love.
