Me (from The Flying Pig) has tagged me with a meme. It's a Me-meme. It's a Mememe about me. I guess that makes it a Memememe. The subject of the Memememe is, if I recall, five unusual things about me (not Me, but me). I think I've done this before, but I'll try to think of five new things.
- Sitting in a room with the inside lights off, the curtains open and the sunlight coming in is depressing to me. When I'm inside, I like inside light.
- The only team sport I like to see on television is football. I like individual sports (golf, boxing, skiing), but I don't like baseball, hockey, basketball or soccer. NFL football on the television always makes me happy, even though I'm not really into it. I could only name a handful of players and have no idea which teams are doing well and which are not.
- When I was a kid I made up my own languages, complete with script, vocabulary and grammar. Yes, I was a Tolkein geek.
- I've lived most of my life in Texas but I've never owned a single article of clothing that anyone would describe as western. No cowboy hats. No western shirts. No cowboy boots. I have an aversion to anything western, but I'm not sure why.
- I almost never forget lyrics. I have 3000 songs in my playlist and I probably know all the lyrics to 2000 of them. I remember lyrics from TV theme shows I watched as a kid. I remember church songs, rock songs, rap songs, commercials, theme songs, everything. I even remember lyrics to songs I hate. Why? I have no idea.
Are those things unusual? Probably they are, a little. Interesting? That wasn't part of the assignment.
Now, I'm supposed to tag five people. Instead, I'll ask you people: Won't you tell me one unusual thing about you?
Later. Love.
