I'll be honest. I'm in business meetings all week, so I'm not riding the train. That means no time to write and no time to comment on blogs and no time to... well, you get the picture. My post from yesterday was actually something I wrote last September. Here's something I wrote the other day. It's not exactly a complete thought, just a bit of silliness. See you soon.
I wonder why we hate wire so bad. Everyone wants to get rid of wire. I bet wire always goes home depressed these days. "It's just a matter of time," it thinks. "I'd better update my resume." People want wireless networks and wireless peripherals. The other day I heard someone describing wireless power. "It's coming," they said. While this seemed to excite them, I was filled with a mild dread.
What's wrong with using wire? Are we going to eliminate it completely? What will the birds sit on? Will we have wireless fences and wireless underwire bras? Wireless prisons? Wireless highwire acts? Wireless wire whisks?
I like wire. I just want to go on record with that. I like it.
Later. Love.
