Sometimes things aren't the same. Sometimes different things happen and you get to see another way. Yesterday afternoon, in Dallas, Texas, I stood outside in bitter cold, 15 degrees Fahrenheit, with ice pellets falling out of the sky onto me while I waited for the train. Whenever it snows down here I like to say to people, "That's the one thing I hate about living in Texas, all the damned snow." Some people laugh and others just get confused. Only once has anyone ever challenged me saying, "It doesn't snow very much here at all. Some places up north get a lot more snow than we do." This guy was a fountain of useful knowledge. I thought about becoming his disciple, but his earnestness would eventually drive me to kill him. I knew this and decided to walk away.
And what about you? Tell me something that's happened to you lately that was terrifically different than your normal routine.
Later. Love.
